Faring is built by a small team. Write to us and a person reads it.
Shake to report, from inside the app
Something wrong on the screen you are looking at? Shake the phone. Faring takes a screenshot you can mark up, asks what happened, and sends it with the app version and sync state. Names and codes in the text are masked before it leaves the phone. You can turn the shake off in Settings.
If the app crashes, it sends a crash report to PostHog by itself, unless you turn off Share crash reports in Settings › Privacy & data. When you email us about a crash, tap Copy diagnostics ID on that page and paste it into the email, so we can find the report.
Known issues
The beta is young. Things we know about and are working on:
- Invitations are sent from the app only; a link that explains and installs Faring when tapped in Messages is coming next.
- Forwarding booking emails is designed, not built. Use the share sheet or From Calendar for now.
- No notifications yet: deadlines and changes show in the app when you open it.
Status
If Faring can’t reach its service, the app keeps working from what is on the phone and says “Saved on this phone” on anything waiting to sync. A status page will be linked here when the service is public.
Your account and data
To export your data or delete your account, use Settings in the app; the steps are on the delete your account page. If you can’t get into the app, email us from the address on your account.
